After doing some research online I discovered that Mesa Boogie will build custom order head shells for Boogie owners. Very cool! So I ordered a black tolex Mark III head shell for my combo that I have been wanting to convert to a head. I should get it in about 4 to 6 weeks.I initially wanted a half stack back when I was a kid but couldn't afford the amp and a cabinet at the time... so I ordered the combo. It will be great to finally get this amp transformed into what I really wanted in the first place over 16 years ago when I ordered it. ;)
Ryan, that's pretty cool. I've got an F-30 I'd like a shell for. What did they charge you?

ReplyDeleteThey charged me about $400 for the build, with fan included. I opted for no reverb in this one, since I prefer to use pedals for delay and verb on this amp anyway.
